Wheat Belt Public Power District, a trusted provider of electricity in southwest NE, is pleased to announce Joseph Michalewicz as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) starting in January of 2026. Joseph's extensive experience and leadership acumen ensures a seamless transition and continued success for the public power district.
Joseph brings a distinguished background in the electric distribution industry most recently at Grand
Valley Power, making him ideally suited to lead Wheat Belt into its next phase of growth and service
excellence.
Commenting on the appointment, Brian Zimmerman, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said: “On
